Two weeks ago we went to Kansas to participate in a good friend's installation service. The bonus is that in addition to being a minister, he and his family also run a small farm. We had SO MUCH FUN!

Here's BabyGirl meeting a horse for the first time. She was fine until the horse stretched his neck to get a closer look. At that point, she let Dadda know it was time to walk away.

Feeding the goats was less scary - maybe because they were closer to her size.

After a few hours, BabyGirl decided the horses weren't scary at all. By the time I prepared for a quick ride, she even consented to posing for a couple pics up in the saddle with me.

What a perfect weekend: good friends, good food (we had their own farm raised chicken for dinner), and a beautiful service. (I included the last pic for those who can't imagine Gary in his clergy robes!)
